I was looking for a job.

So I submitted an application in person at Hardee’s.

I went to the restroom, which smelled bad, so I didn’t use it.

I took my application back from off a desk, and walked away.

As I was walking away, the manager came after me, calling for me.

I stopped, and she told me to come back for an interview.

I followed her to a table with 3 male employees.

She asked me about my work history.

And I told her. about my years in customer service, retail, and fast food.

She inquired about a TEST.

“What?” I responded.

“You said something about a test, what did you mean by that?” She inquired further.

I didn’t remember saying anything about a test.

But the other employees agreed that I had mentioned a test.

I didn’t talk about a test.

“Let’s just forget about the test,” I replied and restated my work history.

We continued the interview when a child appeared on my lap.

I removed him, and the manager picked him up.

For some reason, I thought that the child was the guy on my left.

He asked me why I thought that it was he who was sitting on my lap.

That’s when I noticed that two of them had something wrong with their eyes.

The guy to the right of me, one of his eyes was a milky blue color.

He must have had cataracts or something.

The male next to the guy on the left of me, one of his eyes was dead-looking.

I guess it was hot out because there was a tented umbrella over us.

But we were all using our heads to keep it up and open.

I kept moving my head, and it kept partially closing.

I’m sorry,” I told the guy to the right of me.

As the umbrella kept exposing him to the sun.

“You’re gonna be sorry.” The guy to the left of me said under his breath.

I got hired on the spot, but decided that I wasn’t going to show up for work the next day.

I got up and proceeded to leave.

That’s when the Boss Dada appeared carrying a box.

He was the owner.

He went into the office, and I immediately changed my mind.

I started work that same minute.

LOL…

I got to work sweeping and cleaning up.

It was a skeleton crew of just me, two other females, and two of the men who were with me at the interview.

The Boss Dada had two large pictures of artwork in the box.

I examined them when he left the office.

One was a picture of the PREDATOR.

I’m a FAN!

He had gifted them to one of the male employees.

And I excitedly asked him if I could have the picture of the predator.

He told me that I could, as I examined the other picture of birds.

I went back to work cleaning up with the other two females.

But I stepped away to use my phone soon after.

That’s when I noticed two tills of money had been left out on the counter.

I tried calling the manager to let her know, but I couldn’t find her phone number.

So I rejoined the other two women, but kept an eye on the money tills.

I was sweeping the floor when the Boss Dada came out of the office again.

He had the box of artwork in his hands, and I was in the way.

“There’s a lot of traffic out here, huh?” He said, as I did a little hop to move out of his way.

I didn’t respond, and I didn’t even look in his direction.

I don’t know why.

I wasn’t nervous or shy.

I just didn’t want to acknowledge him.

“Yeah…” He murmured.

I could see him looking at my ass as he made his way past me.

I got the job in my dream, so I guess I’ll be getting the job in real life.

I’ve said this before, I’m going to be tested.

And the test involves money.

The Eyes

It’s something about perception, clarity, or perspective.

It’s two specific males who have their eyes on me.

They’re watching me, and they may have the wrong impression of me.

The guy told me that I was going to be sorry after I had apologized.

There’s an unresolved issue with an apology.
