I was in a bedroom and I looked out the window.

I saw a black man with his back to me.

He was talking to a blonde white woman.

“Daddy’s cheating with a white woman.” I thought. 

I went and sat down next to my step-sister.

“I think Daddy’s cheating with a white woman. “ I whispered to her. 

“Daddy” entered the room.

But he wasn’t my step-father.

It was the Boss Dada.

I was scared that he had heard me.

He said something to us, but I couldn’t make out what he said. 

But, I was relieved that he hadn’t heard what I had said.

I left out the room and he followed me.

He went and sat in a chair at the dining room table, and watched me. 

I tried to act like I didn’t see him, as I made myself busy trying to be nonchalant.

His gaze followed me around the room.

And I eventually went to the fridge, pretending like I didn’t notice him watching me.
